Our Vision

“He sent me to heal the broken hearted, I only do what I see the Father doing. As the Father sent me I also send you” Jesus of Nazareth.

We are a group of Christians from many Denominations who are working together to build the Father’s House Christian Healing Centre at Lawson. Our society is suffering from an epidemic of loneliness and despair and we seek to bring the ‘healing love’ of God to situations that seemingly appear impervious to change. We regularly see the impossible become possible through prayer.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself” Jesus of Nazareth

We offer a range of programs and are seeing lives changed. Many people have not found the church to be a place of loving acceptance; in fact, unfortunately, they have found it to be the opposite. Loving people is easy to say but hard to do consistently, without an environment that both fosters and encourages that determination of the heart. With God’s help we are creating that sort of environment.

‘The Church is the people of God on a pilgrimage together’ Pope John Paul 11

In that sense we are a ‘church’ but we are not a denomination. Our meetings are characterised by exuberant praise, deep reflective worship and the operation of Spiritual Gifts. Each service concludes with a ministry time where the miraculous happens frequently.

Perhaps the greatest miracle that happens at The Father’s House is that Catholics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Orthodox, House Church and Messianic Jews can both worship together and see their friendship and love for each other blossom and grow. Centuries of bigotry and angst are being healed in His presence…. We believe this is an answer to the prayer of Jesus in John 17 “Father I pray that they might be one as You and I are One.”

Fathers House Vision Statement

The Father’s House Christian Healing and Education Centre seeks to fulfill the call of Christ to minister healing and hope to the lost, lonely and broken-hearted.

The message of the Cross, of the Father’s love, of healing and deliverance are central to this non-denominational Christian ministry and are expressed in a myriad of ways, undergirded with love and compassion.

The Fathers House seeks to build “cities of refuge” that provide safe places to heal wherever the ministry is planted. And those who are being healed are then equipped, trained and released into the restoration ministry, to bring hope and release to others.

Through a community of believers built on the unchanging truths of the bible the Fathers House seeks to fulfill the call of Jesus to us to proclaim freedom and deliverance, just as Jesus (in Luke 4) quotes the prophet Isaiah when he says:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see,

that the oppressed will be set free,

and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

As we seek to walk in the footsteps of Jesus we look to have more of His heart established in ours and to walk in the power and authority of the Cross in every way.
